Do you scrapbook, make cards or enjoy some other type of craft? Grab your supplies and and join us for a full day of crafting, food, friends and fun!


Let's Make a Deal"is the theme of the 3rd Annual Fundraiser Crop for Operation Christmas Child. 
When: April 20, 2013
            9:00am -9:00 pm
Where: 304 E. Jackson St.
             Morris, IL
           (Living Word Bible Church)
         NOTE NEW LOCATION
Cost: $30 prior to April 6th, $40 at the door if there is space available  your cost includes, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, Drinks, Goodie Bag ($30+ value,) and More!!

Come crop the day away as we help raise money for Shoebox 1k. A group that packs shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! (OCC) OCC sends gift filled shoeboxes to needy children all over the world along with the message of the good news of God's Love! Money from the crop will go towards helping to purchase items to put in shoeboxes. For more information about Shoebox 1k click the SHOEBOX 1K
Your day will include: A wonderful goodie bag (Valued at least $30)  Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks/Drinks, "Make and Leaves" (instead of make and takes, these will be make and leaves, you will have opportunity to help make crafts to put in shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and of course plenty of time to craft!
Betsy's fabulous tool table will be there with; 2 electronic die cutting systems (ecraft and Cricut), numerous punches, manual die cutting machines including the Creatopia and Sizzix  that come with numerous Sizzix alphabets, Spellbinders Dies, embossing folders and MORE.  New to the tool table this year the ebosser-craftwell's electronic embossing machine
As if all that isn't enough there will be game's, our own "Monty Hall" aka Betsy Burnett will give attendees a chance to play games "Let's make a deal" style where they can win a prize or trade for what's behind one of the "doors"  It could be something better OR it could be a "zonk"
PLUS there will be wonderful grand prizes from our sponsors including: A scrapbooking weekend for two, a Craftwell ecraft electronic die cutting machine, a Xyron 900 machine, a crop table for 4 at the Scrapbook Expo in St. Charles, IL, and MORE over $1000 in prizes will be given away during the course of the day!  Tickets for the grand prizes will be available to be earned by: bringing in donations for shoeboxes (Items listed below), completing pages and projects, participating in make and leaves, playing games, and available for purchase as well.

Also at the crop we will have a shoebox item collection,
Shoebox item donations we are looking for include: School Supplies (markers, crayons, pencils, rulers, scissors, notebooks/paper, glue sticks) , Small Toys (nothing violent or war related please) , Personal Care items (Soap, washcloths, combs, hair pretties for the girls, toothbrushes/tooth paste,) Small stuffed animals (think beanie baby size)
All items must be in new condition, things that are liquid or fragile are not able to be sent in shoeboxes. In addition due to the nature of the areas some of these boxes are sent to nothing violent or war related (including pirates) can be sent. TAX RECEIPTS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST!

Operation Christmas Child provides gift filled shoeboxes to needy children all over the world along with the message of the good news of God's love. Shoeboxes are filled with items such as personal care items; soap, washcloth, toothbrush/paste, comb, School Supplies: pens, pencils, markers/crayons, paper, small toys, hard candy, and more.

Supplies to fill shoeboxes will be collected at the crop and proceeds raised from the crop will go to "Shoebox 1k" a Morris IL area group attempting to fill and send 1000 shoeboxes this year. All money raised will go towards purchasing supplies to fill shoeboxes or to help defray shipping costs of the boxes.
