That image in your head

I've never been a painter...mom was. She could see something and copy it.  It was an amazing skill I was always desiring. I am trying to learn that skill. This image has been in my head for quite sometime. I drew it out and then it sat and sat and sat... I really haven't been able to move on from it or away from it. So it has sat

So today I decided it was the day to finish.

It's based on Acts 17:27 "God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us."

It's far from perfect, but I'm pleased with the effort and maybe someday I'll repaint it when I have acquired more skill. Until then...I can move on :)  Until the next image gets stuck in my head!

Need to add a quick thank-you to Plaid Crafts As an ambassador they help provide me with paints and brushes to get those images out of my head and into reality!

  1. Cool!

I'm much better at converting an image in my head into paper than I am painting it. But the best thing about paint is that you can keep repainting something over and over and over. Not so once paper has been cut!
